Profhilo is not just for the face; its powerful hydrating effects can be applied to areas of skin laxity on the body too. Profhilo hydrates the skin, delivering a glowing, healthy complexion while stimulating collagen and elastin for suppleness.

Treat skin laxity and dryness

at Brighton Beautiful

Profhilo’s key ingredient is highly concentrated and purified hyaluronic acid, for the ultimate in skin hydration. Most commonly used on the skin of the face, Profhilo is equally effective in treating poor skin laxity and dryness in areas of the body. This versatile treatment is fast becoming the treatment of choice for the skin of the neck, décolleté, hands, arms, knees, the upper arms, and abdomen.

Profhilo stimulates the skin cell receptors to correct skin laxity and improve firmness, while triggering the production of collagen and elastin, attracting and retaining water in the deep layers of the skin.

Your questions answered

About Profhilo Body treatment

  • What does Profhilo body treatment involve?

Profhilo is administered with a very fine needle, injecting the product directly into five specific points in the area of skin to be treated. Once injected, the formula flows through the layers of the skin, distributing itself evenly for consistent hydration.

  • Is Profhilo a dermal filler?

Both Profhilo and dermal fillers rely on hyaluronic acid to hydrate the skin, but that’s where the similarity ends. Profhilo has a far higher concentration of hyaluronic acid, achieving greater hydration. Dermal fillers are more viscous by design, enabling them to stay where they are placed and recontour areas of tissue, but Profhilo spreads and flows evenly across an entire area of skin, for optimal skin health and hydration. Profhilo is a specialist product with its own benefits, which do not include reshaping or adding volume to tissue.

  • What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occuring substance in the body which attracts and binds water in the skin. HA is able to hold 10,000 times its weight in water, and makes the skin feel hydrated and firmer, while stimulating the production of collagen and elastin for younger-looking, more supple skin.

  • How many Profhilo treatments will I need?

For most clients we recommend a course of two treatments, with a one-month interval between them.

  • How long will the results of Profhilo last?

The increased firmness, elasticity, and overall skin health achieved by a Profhilo treatment typically last around six months. Repeat treatments can turn a temporary improvement into a lasting change.
